SSC Stenographer Vacancy

SSC conducts the stenographer recruitment examination annually. This year the notification for recruitment will be released sometime in September 2021. These examinations are held to fill the vacancies of Stenographer Grade C and Stenographer Grade D  for different Government Departments, Ministries, and organizations. The Examination is conducted in two stages- the computer-based online test and skill test. SSC Stenographer Vacancy

The Staff Selection Commission conducts the Stenographer Examination to fill the vacancies for various Grade C and Grade D posts in different Government departments and ministries.

SSC Stenographer Eligibility criteria 

Age:

For Grade C Stenographer: The candidate must be between 18 to 30 years of age.

For Grade D Stenographer: The candidate must be between 18 to 27 years of age.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit relaxation provided to the Reserved categories are:

Educational Qualification: 

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination/HSC (Intermediate examination) or its equivalent degree from a recognized University or Board.

Nationality: 

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • The candidate can be a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan.
  • The candidate can be a Tibetan refugee who had come to India before 1st January 1962.
  • The candidate can be of an Indian origin citizen migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka,  Myanmar, East African countries of Malawi, Kenya, Zaire, Vietnam, and Ethiopia having the intention to permanently settle in India.

Selection  Process:

The selection process for the SSC Stenographer 2021 recruitment has two stages:

  • The computer-based Multiple choice questions test
  • Skill Test

The candidates who qualify both the stages are called for document verification and appointment.

There will be a 0.25 marks deduction for every wrong answer.
