The Tamil Nadu, Public Service Commission, conducts TNPSC Group 2 Exam. This state-level exam conducted in offline mode has two stages: Prelims Exam and the Mains Exam. Like the other three groups in the TNPSC group, TNPSC Group 2 is also a state-level exam. It is conducted once a year for the candidates willing to work in the civil services of Tamil Nadu. The TNPSC group 2 gets further subdivided into TNPSC group 2 and TNPSC Group -2 (A).
The total number of vacancies for the TNPSC Group 2 Exam is 5529, including interview and non-interview vacancies.
- Group 2 (Interview Posts): The candidates are selected based on the preliminary exam, written exam, and oral test results.
- Group 2A (Non-Interview Posts): Only written exam marks are considered for selecting candidates.

Step by Step Process to apply for TNPSC Group 2 Exams
- The candidate should apply online via the official website, i.e., https://www.tnpsc.gov.in/ or www.tnpscexams.in for TNPSC Group 2 exam 2022.
- Then the candidate should proceed with the one-time registration.
- The candidate is required to pay a nominal registration fee of Rs 150. The TNPSC Group 2 Exam Fees is Rs. 100/-. However, the exam fee is exempted for SC/ST/BC/MBC category candidates.
- After that, the candidate will be provided with the registration ID and password. Once registered, the registration will be valid for five years.
- The candidate will upload the scanned copy of the photograph, certificates, and signature on the portal during the registration process.
- As soon as the candidate is registered, the candidate must click on the ‘apply online' button and log in via the user ID and password. They would then fill up the necessary details.
- Candidates should take the printout or save their application in PDF format for future references.

TNPSC Group 2 Exam Admit Card
The release date of the admit card for the Prelims Exam of TNPSC Group 2 will be announced by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. Following are the steps to download the admit card from the official website after it is released:
- Visit the Hall tickets section on the official website of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission- https://www.tnpsc.gov.in/
- You have to click on the download option of Hall Ticket for TNPSC Group 2 Exam Prelims.
- Enter the application ID and their date of birth.
- After that, on the submit button.
- Once you submit, the hall ticket will be generated; after that, download and print it.
