SNAP 2021 Admit Card - Complete Details

SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude) Test is a computer-based test that is mandatory to be taken by candidates to get enrolled in the management programme offered by SIU. The candidate should register on the official website to be eligible for appearing for exams. The SNAP Exam Admit Card is a mandatory document to be carried at the examination centre. Check out the SNAP important dates first.

SNAP 2021 Exam Admit Card

Candidates should carry the admit card issued by the Institute to the examination centre to be eligible to appear for the examination. The authorities present at the examination centre will verify the admit card before the candidates can sit for SNAP Test. The Institute will not send the hard copy of the admit card through the post to each candidate. They should download the admit card from the official website. 

Once the candidates clear the SNAP Test, they are selected for further admission process, i.e., GE-PIWAT, based on the percentile received in SNAP Test. The candidates should check the website of the respective Institute to acquire further information and examination dates of GE-PIWAT. Candidates must appear for all the components or tests of GE-PIWAT to be eligible for enrollment in any programme of the Institute. 

The candidates should verify various details when the SNAP Exam Admit Card is made available on the website. They should check: 

  • Time and duration of the exam
  • Venue/Centre details
  • Candidate's name
  • Candidate's roll number
  • Signature of the candidate
  • Candidate's Photograph
  • Examination important guidelines

They should also carry valid photo-identity proof along with the admit card to the examination centre. If the candidates lose the admit card, then the candidates will not be issued a duplicate admit card. 

Procedure To Download The SNAP Exam Admit Card 

Step 1: Visit the official website of Symbiosis International University mentioned above. 

Step 2: Find the link on the homepage to download the admit card

Step 3: Login by providing your credentials, i.e., User ID and Password 

Step 4: You will see the admit card appearing on the screen. 

Step 5: Download the soft copy of the admit card and take a printout of the same. 

Step 6: Preserve the admit card for further use even after examination. 

Candidates should carry identity proof along with them to verify their identity. The candidates should carry any of the following ID proof to the examination centre together with admit card. 

  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Voter ID
  • Driving License
  • Aadhar Card

After the computer-based examination, the respective Institute of SIU will conduct an advance test to be eligible for pursuing the program in those Institutes. Once the SNAP Test and GE-PIWAT are concluded, the Institute will declare the Merit List based on the marks obtained in the following parameters:

The Institute will display Category-wise cut-offs for the waiting lists and Merit lists on the respective Institutes' website. The selection of candidates on the waiting list will depend on the vacant seats of the respective Institutes. 

Candidates should check for the following details after downloading the admit card: 

  • The spelling of the candidate's name should be correct.
  • Date of Birth, Caste category, application number, and such other details should be mentioned correctly.
  • The signature and photograph should appear correctly on the admit card
  • Examination or Test Centre should be as per the preference provided in the application form. However, the Insitute reserves the right to allot or change the city if the city is not available for conducting the examination sou moto and not at the candidate's request.

Exam Day Guidelines

  • The candidate should fix their recent passport size photograph on the SNAP exam admit card attested by a Gazetted Officer.
  • They should reach the examination before the reporting time mentioned on the ID card to complete the verification process before the beginning of the examination.
  • They should also carry a minimum of two original copies of the SNAP Exam Admit card together with the original and photocopy of photo ID proof to the examination centre.
  • The candidate should acquire the designated seats and log in to the computer only after the invigilator has made the final announcement for login.
  • They are not allowed to carry a calculator, watch, phone, Ipad, and any other electronic device to the examination centre. Candidates are also not allowed to take a pen, paper, or any food items in the examination hall.
  • They should not move from their provided seats even after completing the examination until any announcement is made regarding leaving the examination hall.

Examination Process: General Instructions

  • A candidate is allowed to give a maximum of two tests for SNAP 2021. The highest score procured in both the candidates' tests will be considered for calculation of the final percentile without any normalization.
  • The selection of questions for examination is based on the predetermined process that has been prior tested statistically, enabling the setting of unique sets of questions for different topics across the question paper.
  • There is the provision of normal spread, ensuring no unfair advantage is received by candidates who take specific or multiple tests. The question papers are normalised for all three sets for the level of difficulty.
  • Candidates can make changes in the online registration form only up to the last date of registration. However, the candidates cannot make changes in name, category, exam centre, and examination date after filing the registration form.
